Two Step Bird Punch WithOUT Sticky Fingers

WOW!  I'm all a flurry right now getting ready for convention next week - from making my swaps to getting my little gifts ready for friends, and getting my notes ready for my class.  OH!  Did I tell you guys my awesome news?  I don't think I did - I was asked to present a class at Convention this year!  Seriously, I don't know if they know what they got themselves into - you guys know how much I like to gab AND be on stage.  Oh dear, they may never get me off again!  LOL - this may be the only year they ask me to do it!   I'm ULTRA excited, as you can guess, for those exact reasons and because it's my first time doing it for Stampin' Up! 

So, in between my swap and project preparations, I've been working on my notes and practicing talking (another one of my favourite things to do - just ask my hubby!) ;)  Anyway, in the meantime, one my swaps is actually using one of the brand new products in the new catalog - the 2 step Owl Punch!  Now, due to the swap guidelines, I can't actually show you the card yet, but I will on Wednesday of next week, so stay tuned!  In the meantime, I thought I would share with you a video tutorial showing my tips for making these adorable little guys withOUT getting too gluey!  (Ida, this one is dedicated to you! Watercolouring With Reinkers and LOTS of Water!

Thought I would share this with you - I am SO addicted to making watercoloured roses now!  Yikes - I can't stop - this is SO much fun!

So, now I'm sharing the addiction with you!  What you need:

• water in spritzer
• reinkers
• aquapainter
• SHIMMERY CARDSTOCK! (no, watercolour paper won't work, and neither will glossy or whisper white)
• a stamped image with lots of different spaces to colour (this will make sense after you watch the video) - I used my fave - Fifth Ave Florals

Sizzix Snowflake Christmas Card

This is the card we made in the Sizzix Club this month (along with some other projects).  I also am going to teach my Sea to Sky Stampers Group how to make it tonight at our meeting.
