So many of you have been contacting me to hold classes for the holiday season, and everyone has a different one they want me to hold!  What to do!!  Being the over-achiever first born that I am, I started trying to schedule them all in and discovered that I was very much out of time and couldn't possibly do it.  BUT, I really wanted to do them all - they are all so much fun!!!

SO, I came up with a plan!  How about we combine a bunch of events together, call it a party, and stretch it out over an entire day?!  And that's exactly what I'm doing!  Now hang on - this is going to be REALLY good:

On Saturday, Dec. 5th, I am throwing a CHRISTMAS BLOWOUT!  I will have MANY projects you can create - the way it works is that you sign up for a class, and that class will come with a kit.  You will be able to use that kit to make more of the projects of your choice at home (it comes with instructions), but you can also come on the 5th of December, and make them here!  I will be putting on a pot of chili, some crusty bread and some holiday grog, and you get to come and PARTY for the day while crafting the gifts of your choice!  I'll be there to help with any questions you have, there will be prizes, specials and more!  Oh, and guess what - if you do the math, the event itself is FREE with your kit purchase!! :)

Now, I realize that the popularity of this class may overwhelm my space, so I'm limiting it to the first 20 people who purchase a kit.  If that limit is reached, I MAY add another date, (this is not in stone yet).  In a nutshell, registration begins at the time of this newsletter, so if you want in, you need to be one of the first to sign up!  Click here to RSVP for your packages - and yes, you can purchase as many classes as you want, and will receive kits for them accordingly!  You can spend the entire day here crafting in fact!

That's right - the next Christmas Stamp-a-Stack of Cards is THIS MONDAY, Oct. 26th from 7-10pm!  By popular demand, we will be making your three favourite cards, as voted on by the last September Stamp-a-Stack, and workshop guests.  The two in the back are part of the awesome stash of cards I received at Founders Circle this year, and the one in front is one I got to make as a Demonstrator at our annual Convention this year - gosh I love being a demo!

The theme is THANKSGIVING, HALLOWEEN and of course, CHRISTMAS!

August Midnight Crop

Lots of questions about the next Midnight Crop - I know that many of you are planning back to school gifts for teachers and kids, so I wanted to give you a heads up on the date so you can plan: The August Midnight Crop will be held on Friday, August 28th, from 8-midnight.  You can RSVP here for it, and please do it early, as the back to school crop can fill up fast! 

Reward Class is August 19th & Summer Special!

For those of you who helped me in my final push for earning the cruise this year by placing an order in May or June, you will be receiving an email in thanks with an invitation to the free class I told you about for your reward! 

We'll be making this adorable 'chest of drawers' at the reward class on August 19th (Wednesday), from 7-9pm.  These little bureaus were making the rounds on Splitcoast a month or so back, and I had to try my hand at it.  I don't know who originally inspired it (if you do, give credit), but I had to play with the new papers and try out a daisy with the awesome grommets and felt buttons..

I'm SO excited!  I'm just finishing up preparations for tomorrow's big event - my annual New Catalog Open House!  WOO HOO!  Seriously, this catalog is the best yet, everyone agrees, and there are so many incredible new products, I have had a hard time choosing which one to show you - for a while you were going to stay a month at my house while I showed you everything!!! :)  LOL

Hostess Oasis Make n' Take - SPOILER!

If you were a hostess last year, or you placed an order that qualified for hostess benefits, you are one of the lucky ones who are invited to my annual Hostess Oasis event on July 6th!  Everyone is getting a massage (not by me - no worries there!), there will be games, new products, and of course a make n' take!

Sooooo... wanna see what the make n' take will be?  You DO?!  You just want to see a sneak peek of some of the new products and colours from the new catalog, don't you!  LOL - ok, how about a sneak peek for you????  Here's the make n' take we will be making!

This is a 'Shadow Box Card', and they are really simple to make (and if you are a hostess coming on the 6th, you will be making this one!) - here's how:

1. Cut two pieces of 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" cardstock
   
2. optionallly cut one sheet of 3-1/2" x 4" designer series paper for the background image (isn't this one CUTE?!)
   
3. Score in the edges of both pieces of cardstock at 1/2" and 1" from the ends, and glue the last segments together, forming the box!

Upcoming Hostess Oasis

Father's Day Class SUNDAY

BIG CHANGE!  I'm moving the Fathers Day Class to 1pm on Sunday - it worked better for everyone who hasn't already taken it.  I AM accepting late registrations to this class, but only by email - you won't have the stampset in time for the class, but you will at least have a ton of MAN PROJECTS finished (they don't have to be Father's Day only).
