Here's how you do it!
Supplies:
- One piece of Base Cardstock: 6" x 7-3/4"
- Two pieces of front and back cover Designer Paper: 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" (I used Tall Tales Designer Paper from the new catalog)
- Optional little scrap for top of box
- Ribbon (I used new Soft Suede Designer Ribbon from the new catalog
- Sticky Tape
- Scoring Tool (I used my Fiskars Paper Cutter with the scoring blade attachment
Here goes!
Score your cardstock on the 7-3/4" side at: 3/4", 3-1/2", 4-1/4", 7"
Score your cardstock on the 6" side at: 3/4", 4-1/2", 5-1/4"
Cut the cardstock as shown on the sample here, noticing areas to be completely removed on scorelines:
Adhere the sides and bottom of the box together, being careful to line it up well
The back double lined area on the top is to be folded over and glued together for added reinforcement, and the one in the front (above the 'front' writing on the guide), is just to be trimmed.
Adhere designer paper, and you are done! Crayon box complete!!
I trimmed the edges on the lid, to help ease the boys in putting the top on and off

Oh my gosh girl, these are so adorable! Your boys will absolutely LOVE them! Happy 4th!
