I didn't have a chance to share with you yet the cool little package I got in the mail last week:
Isn't it beautiful?! In case you can't tell what it is - that would be a black leather itinerary organizer, with a lovely pink grosgrain ribbon and a matching pink pirrouette luggage tag attached! Hello! Um, do I feel special?! That's not all, you open it up, and:
Yep - 2 more luggage tags, my tickets, a handy little dealy I leave at home for my family to have my contact info (how thoughtful!), and a colour-booklet on my week next week at Founders' Circle! (like my schedule, the spa info, etc..) Ok, I have to admit, I was totally honoured and surprised at how classy everything is! I'm being spoiled already, and I haven't even gotten there yet! Are you at all shocked though that it is so coordinated and beautiful? Isn't class 'so Shelli' after all?
Oh, which reminds me, did you know that Shelli (the CEO/Co-Founder of SU!) has a blog now?? You can go see it at www.soshelli.com - very neat to read about her life - she is such a neat person.
So, if you are catching up, this Founders Circle thing is a pretty big deal - only 10 demos (13?) from Canada get to go - the top 13 in various categories - so I'm pretty stoked (and can't believe I'm included!) this is a separate trip from the annual incentive trip, which I already earned for last year (it's in Hawaii in March) - this one is to a spa resort in St. George, and it's NEXT WEEK!
Ok, can I be honest?? I'm a little intimidated! I mean, it's the top 135 demos in North America, and Shelli - THE Shelli. Ummmmmmmmm... and I'm there because???? I feel like I'm in Kindergarten, and I'm going to play with the 'big girls' for a week! :) Yikes! We are doing a massive swap with everyone there (135 cards), and there are supposed to be Christmas cards. (by the way - I WILL do a Stamp a Stack using the best of these that I receive, so watch for it!!!)
Do you want to see my sample? I knew you did.. this is the one I'm bringing:
I tried it out on my Christmas Stamp a Stack this month, and it seemed to pass muster, so that'll be the one. I might try it with a blue background, but haven't decided yet on that one. I hope they like it!!
On this one, I used the Top Notes Die Cut and the Sizzix Machine. I cut two Topnotes - one in red, and one in white. They have a perforated line about 1/8" in, so I removed that on the white one, so I could layer it on the red. I also used the striped red grosgrain ribbon - love it! Specifics follow this email for you..
Next week I'll be away from my blog again, as a result - sorry about that! Don't worry, I'll keep you posted when I can about the week and tell you all the highlights!
Ok, back to getting as much done as possible before my plane leaves next week!
